My name is Michelle, and I make most of the jewelry that you will see here. My daughter Cloie, has just started to make jewelry for girls 13 or younger, and her designs will be seen here too.
I started to make jewelry because my daughter Ambrosia(Bro for short) has Type 1 Diabetes and needs to ware a medical alert bracelet or dog tag(necklace) and she didn't like the regular old metal ones. So, one day I asked her if she wanted me to try to make her a trendier medical alert bracelet( I had NEVER made jewelry before but I always liked to make things) and I got all the items I needed; and I went to work on it for her. I made her several different changeable bracelets to fit one medical alert tag, and I still make new ones for her. She wares them everyday and you can hardly tell that it's a medical alert bracelet.
I liked making those so much that I decided that I would try to make other jewelry, and I love doing it. Now that my daughter Cloie,12 yrs, is starting to make jewelry she and I spend a lot more time together and we have a lot of fun together.
The profit from the designs that Cloie makes and sells is hers to keep. However, the jewelry that I design and sell a portion of the profit will be donated to the J.D.R.F.
